The Sawtooth shirt is our homage to the rugged origin of the 1960s rodeo and ranch circuit. Originally designed to offer reinforced stitching on the pocket flap to reduce wear, the sawtooth became a symbol of authentic workmanship and defiant character, offering a distinctive silhouette that stood out in the arena and beyond.
Featuring a slightly wider casual fit, it provides easy layering and unrestricted movement, honouring its functional roots while offering modern, everyday comfort. Refined with single-needle stitching through out, we kept the classic pointed pocket shape, but cut them a bit deeper so they sit nicely low when tucked in.
Cuts from 100% brushed cotton from Japan’s Hyogo prefecture - an area celebrated for its textile heritage. Woven tight and then gently brushed to give the fabric remarkable softness that feels broken-in from the very first wear. It’s substantial without being stiff, offering a cozy, lived-in comfort that only improves with time.
